Nuta Olaru is a world-class marathon runner originally from Romania who became a naturalized US citizen in 2012. She competed at the 2004 Athens Olympics and set a personal marathon best of 2:24:33 at the Chicago Marathon that same year. A three-time winner of the iconic Big Sur Marathon (2012, 2013, 2014), Nuta has consistently ranked among the top finishers at major marathons worldwide and has represented both Romania and the United States on the international stage.
